N.A.S.A. una Gran erupción volcánica en “ÍO” la 3ª luna de Júpiter.
Marzo 2014. La NASA, ha compartido una increíble imagen fotográfica, dónde se recoge una de las mayores erupciones volcánicas ocurridas en –Ío-, la tercera luna más grande del Planeta Júpiter, en nuestro Sistema Solar. Esta luna está considerada como el lugar más volcánico del sistema solar. Las imágenes de las erupciones acaecidas en –ÍO- han sido recogidas por Nave Espacial Horizons de la NASA, así como su grabación en video, donde se recoge el momento de la gran erupción volcánica.
La erupción volcánica.
-ÍO- La luna de Júpiter más volcánica del Sistema Solar.
Esta erupción volcánica ocurrió en –ÍO- que está situado a unos 6`2 millones de Kilómetros de distancia de la tierra, según las mediciones registradas en 2006 y 2007.
Esta Luna de Júpiter, es una de las más activas del Sistema Solar, ya que, posee aproximadamente unos 400 volcanes que están en activo. Estos volcanes, generan columnas de gases que superan la distancia de unos 500 kilómetros, expandiéndose más allá de la superficie del Planeta.
En 2007 ya hubo una gran explosión, que se grabó y nos ayuda a imaginar las dimensiones de la fuerza ejercida en cada explosión volcánica.
EL Voyager observó que sobre –ÍO- las erupciones eran simultáneas en nueve volcanes. Los restos de las explosiones volcánicas se pueden extender más allá de los 300 kilómetros (190 millas) sobre el área terrestre de la luna, expulsando materiales a velocidades increíbles cercanos al Kilómetro por segundo.
Su temperatura terrestre lunar oscila entre -143° C (-230° F); pero la masa viva que contiene está vinculada al fenómeno volcánico y su temperatura oscila entre 17° C (60° F). Los investigadores consideran que la masa viva de calor interno podría ser un gran lago interno de lava, similar a lo que ocurre en el planeta Tierra.
